ok then thanks for your help just in case anyone can help for about 2 years i have been searching for my brother matthew simmonds he is the son of my father and another woman. i saw him up until he was two he was a twin and his twin brother died at that age (2) i am now trying to track his mum down i have emailed her through genes reunited but im unsure whether she will be checking. because even today matthew is onlt about 13 i cannot search for him personally i have tried salvation army they could not help. his mothers maidern name is emma wakefield married name emma morgan she was born in bridgend aroud1970 -72 she was only a young mother. i would like to no the name of her mother to continue my search which isnt goin very far at the moment |

Natalie, if you have more than one thread on the subject people will get confused and may waste time duplicating info. If you really need to know this information then you can trawl 1837online or familyrelatives.org - both pay to view. |

Natalie, As I said, for someone born on the 1970's/80's you cannot find out their mother's name any way other than buying the birth certificate. Not unless someone knows her personally and happens to know her parents! Sam x |

Perhaps people could help if you let them know the details, who, why, when? Whose mother is this and when and what part of your tree? You have tried everything else? Could you also tell us where you have tried to avoid people wasting money on units. |

You cannot view birth certificates ANYWHERE. you have to pay £7 and order one from the GRO or from the local register office. There is no other way of getting someone's mothers name, only by getting the certificate. Sam x |

is there anyway that i can find out someones mothers name . this may sound a bit confusing but i really need help i have tried everythin else. is there anyway i can search for these detail for FREE on the internet ADVICE NEEDED this is the only thing i havent tried |
