i two lots .... dorothy jane robinson dob darlington 1 1023 which i think is the vol and page number then i have dorothy jane robinson darlington 10 a 112. sam!

Sam, (Kerr, not me or Smiley!!) Do you have the GRO ref - you need a quarter, year, volume and page number. Like this: Hill, Samantha, Q3, 1968, Vol.6b, page 180 (or something like that) Sam x

Have you got the GRO ref? If you have then you have not entered it when applying for the cert, that's the only way GRO would be charging you £11.50 Sam

it was the gov site i just been on, i do have her date off birth and i think the relevent info i need. sam!

They are only £11.50 if you don't have the GRO reference. To get them for £7 you need the ref which can be found in many different places. If you know the year it happened, someone will probably look it up for you. Sam x

You should only be paying £7 - use the GRO site. Have you got 1837 online, you'll find the link on there. Regards Keith

hi there should i be paying £11.50 for abirth cert,or is there a cheaper way,its just some one told me not to pay more than £7. sam!
