Angela did they stay in Wales because on the 1851 census for Wales there are 947 John Jones born between 1815-1819. Do you have any of their childrens names? Georgina.

I was going to suggest getting the birth cert of one of the children, so you would have Ann's maiden name to help you.......I thought Walter would be the least common first name, but....................... thank you ladies for all the info them two birth reg for walter look like it could be same person i didnt know john was widowed by 1871 so thank you for that also baptist minister no charge does that mean his service was free what a charitable man its funny how in some census info walter and mary ann were born in france and others in wales thats very confusing think i will send for cert of walter see what comes back many thanks angie xxxx
