how do i go about finding someone born 1832 aberdare but doesnt appear on a census till 1871? have marriage cert listing him as widower in aberdare 1866. also cant find record of 1st marriage or trace daughter by 1st before or after 1871.have tried 1837online, familysearch, ancestry, where else can i look? tried all counties and just surname ....need help with this one. |

loads of thanks!! nicholas morgan(s) born 1832 aberdare, married hannah james 1867.nicholas father listed as evan morgans deceased occupation gardener. nicholas coal miner living in miners housing gadlys street aberdare 1871 and 1881. had 2 adopted sons evan evans and david jones who becomes david morgan. see why i'm getting confused! elizabeth ann born aberdare 1859 to 1st wife (no idea who).cant find her birth either.dont know where else to go with this so big thank you, jane. |

1851 This might not be relevant but am just searching on a Nicholas born c1832 Aberdate - and have come up with one with an Evans surname which you mention in your request. you are all stars, i went blank on ways to trace, would'nt have thought of just using 1st name.explains why he cant be found as a morgan, but his father was morgans, possibly nicholas illegitimate?or just used wifes name. |
