HI Alot of Adoption Records were handed over to the Social Services in the area of where the child was adopted, if you contact the local library or Council or Social Services, they will be able to point you in the right direction Regards Bev |

If you lived in the Harringey/Finsury Park areas you may have been sent to a home for un-married mothers which you cannot remember etc. I stayed in the Finchley area of North London and my babes adoption was handled by: The CHILDRENS SOCIETY! Their H.Q. are in PECKHAM/LONDON. Good Luck. This was in 1959. |
