i have looked in ancestry and freebmd and can not find a match is there any were else i could have a look as i want t get a cert for it Joseph Todhunter and a Margaret Johnston between 1881 and 1891 in the cumberland area. many thanks lee |

www.1837online.*com has the complete indexes (pay to view) the sites you have searched only have partly transcribed indexes. The familyrelatives site would also help for the time period you are searching. Again pay to view but transcribed so you should beable to match the two names more easily. |

From Family Relatives, there IS a Margaret Johnston marrying in Q2 1887 at Wigton district. I haven't got the ref as am trying to save units, but I bet it matches!! Merry |

sorry to dissapoint jim but i did take a quick peak thanks to all for the look ups i purchased some units on familyrelatives and found the marriage on there off to order the cert now again thanks lee |

On FreeBMD Q2 1887 is the only quarter with less than 95% coverage between 1866 and 1905. It has less than 50%. |
