Well I did get a mental pic of Jordan, from the address.......but am still dim.....what's that got to do with Mr Speke the magistrate???? I can here myself sounding like my Auntie who had to have all jokes explained to her LOL!!!!! Am standing at the edge of a cliff at the mo, (with laptop LOL) waiting to see how thick I am..........I am in your hands whether to jump or not!! Merry

Not a mistranscription as such but have a look at the census image for the Yates' family.....who was more confused the husband or the census guy!!??? 1871 England RG10/1427 Folio 54 Page 1 Sarah :)

I was going from household to household in tinkers lane IOW on the 1881 the other week and came across a family of moths and the nephew living with them was called bird moth. there was also a fanny blew on the IGI in shanklin. jenny
