Any ideas on how to contact a long-lost friend?

Sorry, this is nothing to do with family trees, but I thought someone might be able to help. I have an old friend who sends me a Christmas card every year. Unfortunately I lost her address a few years ago so can't. Bless her, she still keeps on sending me cards, even though she must think I'm ignoring her and I really would love to get in touch with her. She lives in County Durham and if anyone has any ideas I'd be very grateful. Thanks, Pam

I searched for years for a school friend. I finally found her by writing to her brother on Friendsreunited..... She was in the Netherlands.

Thanks people. A kind lady called Margaret sent me a message and is doing a search on people finder for me. If she draws a blank I'll try your ideas. Thank you all again, Pam

I did a name search on Friends Reunited (my friend hadnt listed with the school I met her at). Her name came up and the area was right and I took the chance to email her. After 30 years we are sending emails and photos backwards and forwards. Its really nice to have her back as a friend. Good luck.

Success! Thanks to everyone who helped, especially Carol and Margaret. Have just written my friend a letter the size of War & Peace, as we've had several years' news to catch up on. Pam
