Is it possible to highlight all deleted messages and get rid of them in one go? I do them one by one and then answer the 'do you want' thingy. I now have a pageful plus! It's so time consuming doing them one at a time. Have tried highlighting them but it doesn't seem to work. PS No rush to answer this - am off for a bath!! Be on tomorrow with any luck. Jill |

If I understand your question correctly on the Inbox and Sent Messages there is a box at the right of each message. Check the box of the messages you no longer want then click on Delete at the bottom of the list. The problem is the Your Contacts section. They have to be deleted one at a time. If you do delete a contact, it will also delete any messages received from that person. Hope this helps. Rose |

Thanks - I mean on Outlook. I click Delete and they go into the Deleted Items. Then, unless I go there and delete straight away, I have to go through each message one by one, click delete and then the 'do you want to permanently delete' box. These I have to do one at a time - I've tried highligting them all to get them into the Bin but it won't work. Just wondered if it was possible - not a major problem though. Jill |

got to deleted items, shift + home high lights everything, then press delete, gets rid of them all in one go, or it should anyway! It still asks the Q but you can do them all in one go |

Thanks everyone That's great! Such a nuisance emptying them one at a time - I thought there might be a better way. Grateful for all the tips. Jill |
