I am trying to find out any info on my grandparents.Thomas Kerr and Elizabeth Dickie both born around 1890 in Glasgow,they had 4 children, Moira my mum and 3 boys ,Malcolm,Thomas and Robert..

If your family stayed in Scotland, then I believe that you'll be able to get some excellent records - but you'll probably have to pay. Sctoland's People is a very good site http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/index.aspx?area= content/about_this_site/who_are_we&id=-99 (take out the Return-stroke) - but I think you might find it useful to look on the IGI as well - on www.familysearch.org FreeCEN has quite a lot of Scottish census transcriptions, as I recall. If you put ''Scotland'' into the thread-search here, you might find some useful threads - and/or ''Scottish''. Christine
