This might seem a pretty dim question but which is the easiest way to cancel my sub? Neglected to cancel this month and have paid another quarter. I accept this is my error but I would like to cancel the next one extra early! cheers, netti

From your intital entry into the site, there's a ''My Account'' link. You can follow that to ''Payment info: update credit card info'' One of the options then is ''cancel''. There are also contact phone numbers. Christine

I think the 'cancel' link on that page just means 'send me back to where I was, I didn't mean to go here' There is an email address you can use. I'll see if I can find it. internationalcancelsonly at ancestry(dot)com

I am going to try the e mail but there is a complication.... I set up the account using my father in laws 'puter as mine was dead at the time. So I think I emailed from his house using my credit card! Can't exactly remember! was hoping the phone would be easier to explain netti - in a right old muddle!

Oh dear, you are in a pickle! You could try asking the card company to stop the payment. You can also change the email address on the account. That is the one they will take notice of. If it matches the address you email from, it doesn't matter where you were when you set up the account.

thanks for your interest Tracy I am going to visit father in law and trawl his sent emails to find the exact info before I even attempt cancelling! I have until February before they take the next payment! netti( (calmer now))
