I am going to the national newspaper archive at Colindale next week. If you can confirm the newspaper and the date, I can take a look for you. I successfully found an inquest report for a relative and have ordered a copy which I am collecting next Tuesday or Wednesday. Happy to help Jim |

Does anyone know if Chester had a newspaper in 1873 - if yes, does the Chester archives /record office have them on microfiche/ film? The death cert of my great great uncle in 1873 says that cause of death was accidental while labouring on Cheshire railways. I was wondering whether newspaper article /coroners report could tell me more info. Thanks |
