The NAtional Newspaper Collection is in Collingdale, NW London and is open to the public. If you google for 'British Library Newspaper Library' you should get the information you need. You could also try the Digital Times online which I think is accessible through the Bedfordshire Library- If you can't find them through a search engine http://www.bl.uk/catalogues/newspapers/welcome.asp http://www.galaxy.bedfordshire.gov.uk I know there is something odd about not being able to give addresses but don't know what it is so hope these work Sylvie PS Looked Times digital for you without success 1914-1916. You might need to get a GRO and the exact date of death to know which dates to look for?

I'm trying to locate a newspaper article about the death of Sarah Kitching. She was born c. 1814 and the story is that she was over 100 when she died and there was a newpaper article about her at this time. Her last known residence was in 1901 at Chesterfield. She also lived in the Birmingham area.
