Does anyone know if it's possible to get copies? I have my original but my brother's and sister's have got lost. They both would like to get copies if it's possible. Joy |

Hi IIson (cause I know what that means!!!) Would like to know too as I have a copy of my great uncles baptism cert dated 1896 that I got through chasing ordination papers, it had his his date of birth on it which was a bonus Here's hoping someone knows Elaine |

Not sure about baptism certificates, but you can get photocopies of the actual parish register page from the local records office. I like to obtain these, to put with my family history, for events before 1837. Among others, I have a marriage from 1750. It is nice to know that the writing I am looking at, is that which was actually written in 1750 by the vicar of the time. |

You can get copies of the baptism ENTRIES made in the church baptism registers, but I think baptism CERTIFICATES were a one off, given to the parents/godparents. I have not come across duplicate copies of these being kept at the church. Jay |
