Is there anybody who lives near Cook County Records office ? I`m trying to find my great aunt`s marriage in 1948-50. Her name is HANNAH ELIZABETH RATTRAY and she married an American -SAMUEL DAVIS.Thanks, Rosalyn |

It is Illinios. Have looked on line and they don`t have marriages in these dates. I thought they may have married in Scotland but they didn`t Rosalyn |

Rosalyn, Check this site: http://www cookctyclerk com/sub/genealogy_requests asp?VR=2 (add a period before and after cookctyclerk) There is a genealogical request form you can print out. Since you don't know the exact date, there is an email address where you can ask about if they will do a search and what the cost will be. Hope this helps Rose |
