Have now realised that on the 1891 census phebe put her birth place down as oxford, it was,nt it was warks. Could Frank have put his birth place down as Warks? After speaking to my sister, another piece of info came up.My grandfather, Franks nephew, had a cousin who not only had the same name as my grandad, but was roughly the same age. I believe that it was only Frank who came to brum, so that means he did marry and possible have a son called charles harris brn slightly after 1889 in brum. |

sorry again for the delay had to go to work, phebe was'nt on the 1901 census so I presume she past on before census night. Frank would'nt have fallen on hard times, he had an elder brother who would have 'kept'him, as he had done earlier when franks father died. Know nothing about him, other that he was well loved by his brother, who named his eldest son after him. he may have past away before the 1901 census, but I cannot find his death reg |

He doesn't seem to be transcribed in either Ancestry or 1901 Online - or not as someone Fran* Harri*s, born 1872-1874 born in Oxfordshire and living anywhere, or living in Birmingham and coming from anywhere. Does he have any other attributes which might identify him? Was he a bit of a rogue, or likely to fall into poverty (you might find him under just his initials)? I think it will take someone with a bit more time than I have this evening. Christine |

Jess, sorry for delay in getting back. Yes that is the Frank I am looking for, although I know that phebe had passed on by 1901 census. Don't know if Frank got married, as I cannot find him after 1891 |
