Can't do the 1841 census - have you tried the Records board? On the other hand, have you seen these IGI records: Bonsey Exact Spelling: Off Batch Number: P006282 1. WILLIAM BONCEY - International Genealogical Index Gender: Male Christening: 26 JUN 1836 Saint Mary, Lambeth, London, England *** 2. CAROLINE BONCEY - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 26 JUN 1836 Saint Mary, Lambeth, London, England Not exact - but they could both have been born earlier and baptised at one go. In both cases: Father: WILLIAM BOLTON BONCEY Mother: ELIZA Christine

That's interesting - it doesn't conflict with those records I found. Christine

Christine, just realised Eliza is the connection between what we both found. Gloria

This could be way off the mark BUT--as the father is dead before 1851 census, and the habit of calling the first son after the father I looked for a death and came up with this. The sons DOB could be a bit out, or the mother could have just been pregnant when he died. But worth a thought Name: Bonsey, George Record Type: Deaths Quarter: June Year: 1839 District: Lambeth County: Greater London London Surrey Volume: 4 Page: 162 what do you think? Gloria
