BOER WAR 1901 CENSUS

This is probably a very dumb question so here goes. If you are in the Army at the time of the 1901 census would there be an entry and if you where in South Africa would that be noted. I am looking for Frederick Hazledine I cannot find him on the 1901 census, I know he fought in the Boer War . Help please Sonia |

if he was actually abroad, then no, if he was in barrack here , then yes. What more do you know about him? |
