This my last attempt to find one Mr Jeremiah Tattersall born 1829 in a Village called Ewood Bridge Lancasire but he has been known to put it down as Haslingden. I am looking for him on the 1851 Census. I hope some really kind person can help and thanks in adance |

I've found that 1851 entry. The first letter may or may not be a D, but the rest is almost certainly 'uckworth' on the image. Furthermore, there are two of them who appear in the censuses: both of them up to 1891 and the Ewood bridge one up to 1901! Christine |

I found the same one as helen, and wondered too. But keep in mind that sadly, many lancs records were damaged or lost - scroll down on the ancestry pages and you'll see the list. maybe he was in one of those? Sue (in NZ) |
