Hi there, A family member was adopted and we wondered how you can use your real family and adoptive family information on the same family tree.Is there a way off doing this? thank you karen billingham [email protected]. |

Hi Karen I've added my adopted relative twice, 1st as her adopted name and 2nd as her birth name ( I did it that way as I didn't know her birth name for a long time) It looks like my dad was married to 2 women at the same time, both born in the same year and both with the same forename, But I understand it. I did ask the Genes Reunited help desk, but they said I would need to construct 2 trees and that meant I would have to pay 2 subscriptions if I wanted to contact members with names from both trees - I couldn't hold the info in my head long enough to switch to the active acount.
