I think they must have been a series of terraced lodging houses......Looked for the addy in The Times Newspaper archive. Quite a few mentions from 1785 (when the archive starts) up to 1905. Wondered if they were knocked down then?? (or soon after) Lots of things happening........Man died of rabies there in the 1830's.....various people were assaulted or assaulted someone else and lived in the buildings, someone was in court for killing some ''house pigeons''(1880's and 1890's).....occupations mentioned for folks living there were generally trained working classes....boookbinder, shoemaker, etc etc. Generally the addresses are mentioned in this way: Mr X had a room at No 1 Harvey's buildings, Strand......Mr Y was the lodging house keeper at No 4 Harvey's Buildings, Strand No pictures though!
