Yes Annie would be old by then. I have Arthur McCarthy's (my grandads) birth cert. He was born 19.11.1904. It says his dad Charles was a dock labourer. I know by the time Arthur was married 25.12.1930 his dad was dead. I thought c1880 would be near for their dob's but who knows. My mum orphaned 1944, very little info on McCarthy side of family. I am fairly new to all this, although I put a message on November 2003 looking for my dad who left when I was a baby and January 2004 my brother got in touch. I had 3 sisters and 1 brother. Obviously I didn't know but they knew about me. My dad had died aged 69 May 2003. Lynne.

This could be the correct family if a little old, although my uncle thinks Arthur had brothers Peter and Charles. Any way of knowing females maiden names without tracing their marriage certs? Annie was Billington before. Lynne
