I have found a death for Elizabeth Fry Jun quarter 1846, Clutton, Somerset on Free BMD unfortunately it does not give the age at death, and was wondering if her age of death would be given on the 1837 site? The Elizabeth Fry I am searching would have been circa 20 years old, dying at child birth. Elizabeth |

FreeBMD has exactly the same info as 1837, except FreeBMD is incomplete so if there is no age on the reference you found then it won't be on 1837 either. The only way your going to find out the age is to order the certificate. |

Thank you Johnathon and Lunar, that is the answer I was expecting, but not hoping for. Will now go ahead and order the certificate. Many thanks once again. Elizabeth |

Hang on, hang on...... NBI index: Burial 8th July 1846 at Camerton (In Clutton District) Elizabeth Fry aged 61. She could have died at the end of Q2. Hope I'm not too late? Merry |

However there IS a death reg in Q3 as well, so maybe the 61 year old is that one?? Just a thought....I'll shut up now! Merry |

I don't know enough about Somerset geography to know if these burials would be in Clutton reg district but I notice that Freebmd has 2 Elizabeth Fry deaths in CLutton, one in June quarter and one in September, and familyhistoryonline has two Elizabeth Fry burials in Somerset in 1846: Elizabeth Fry aged 88 on 16 May 1846 in Kingsbury Episcopi (St Martin's church) Elizabeth Fry aged 61 on 8 Jul 1846 in Camerton (ST Peter's church) |

Merry and Judith, Thank you so much for your help. Unfortunately it is not my Elizabeth Fry, as I said above she was only 20 years old, dying at child birth, but I must admit I was so excited when I found the Jun Qtr I did not look any further. So kind of you both, much appreciated. Elizabeth |

Kingsbury Episcopi is in Langport District. What I was trying to say is that one or the other of those two death reg's - Q2 or Q3 - is going to refer to the 61 year old lady. The other one may be yours. So fingers crossed you have asked for the right one!! Merry |

Merry, Thanks a million, you have raised my hopes... I think I will apply for the two, the other Elizabeth Fry aged 61 old could be her grandmother ....... keep fingers crossed. Elizabeth |
