I found a strange middle name in several ancestors (Ormerod)..... no reference to any one else in the whole of the tree. Then, found a witness on a Will with the same name ... turned out to be a next door neighbour for at least 20 years. I'll never know what he did to have children named after him, but it must have been something remarkable ...... unless ...??? The mind boggles ! Elaine ;-) |

My G Grandmother didn't have a middle name, but three of her sister's did, they all had the middle name Oswald...could this of been a family name, I have found no reference to this name anywhere in my tree. Debbie |
