Just located my OZYER family mistranscribed as CRYER. Knew they were there as had seen them on visit to Archives, and someone kindly clarified my rather poor copy of the info for me from their Shropshire cd, but i couldn't find them on ancestry. Obvious to me what the name was but then i know it!! |

It's maddening when you know your rellies are there but you can't find them. Some mistranscriptions are understandable, particularly when you see the original handwriting. But some made-up surnames are so unlikely I can't see how anyone didn't query them. nell lost William Matthews in 1881 Henry Matthews in 1861 George & James Broad in 1881, 91, 1901 nell |
