On Ancestry? I've got a couple of families that have disappeared into thin air, and was wondering if it was something I was doing or not.......c.....x

Ancestry do actually list what they know is missing from the 1851 - mainly bits of Lancashire. Maureen

When you get the search box up for 1851 then scroll down and eventually a list of missing pieces appear. Good luck, Maureen

HI once you get into ancestry 1851 if you tab down to the bottom it tells you which areas are not in. Just my luck the majority of my lot are in those areas. Gloria xx

It's not complete. I have a few that are missing. However, it also terribly transcribed, so they might just have fallen under the Light for Smith category lol

Claire, I think that with every census, some people hide in corners where they can't be found, unfortunately! Could also be the dreaded mice as with the 1861!! :-) Joy
