Applied for a marriage certificate, they said the despatch date would be the 1st November..............Just got it!! And I live America!! Wish I got all my family research this quick! |

I'm still waiting for one of mine from them! Seems to take forever when I order from them, Durham County Council, on the other hand takes 6 days from ordering to arriving. Love 'em. Where in Michigan are you FC? Brenda |

Well Brenda, Not at all far away from each other! I had a man ask me where in Michigan I was the other day on here, his daughter lives Farmington Hills. I've only been here 3 years last April so I'm still getting used to it, still miss my family and friends. Being here is what started me with the family research, wanted any future family to know where we came from and all about their Ancesters. Now I've just got to hope they'll be as interested as I am and not throw it all away once I'm gone! Fiona. |

Hi Fiona- That would be “John half a Scot Dickson”! He replied to a thread I had going about a month ago, when my family were coming over to visit, he mentioned then that he’s made the same trip 5 times so far, as his daughter lives in Farmington Hills. I only got interested in doing my tree a few years ago too, I also think it was a reaction to not being around family and friends so I know what you mean! It’s since become an obsession. Well, there’s me and you and Johns daughter in FH… a couple more people and we can start the Michigan chapter of GR, lol. Happy hunting, Brenda |
