if a man had been married and divorced would there be anything mentioned when he got married again on the new cert

On the New Marriage Certificate under 'Condition' it should say something like 'Previous Marriage Dissolved'. Joy

oh good because I am sure he was married and divorced her but having trouble finding the first marriage so was going to give up, I shall now get the marriage cert thanks

My father-in-law's cert says 'Previously the husband of XXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXX, spinster, from whom he obtained a divorce'. nell
