Help with a first name please

Please can anyone help me with a first name. The lady I am looking for died in Ashbourne 1956/1957. Birth date, sorry do not know. Married name was Blood, married in Ashbourne to a Edgar Blood, maiden name Plant, year do not know, sorry. Had a daughter in 1942 named Janet, as I found this on FreeBMD, but as you know does not list first name, do not know if she had anymore children. Regards

Hi Debbie If you send for Janets birth certificate that will give you her full mothers name. Good Luck! Debby

Debbie Info after 1910 is hard to come by. But as you know about Janet, it seems easiest to get her birth cert. nell

I already knew Janets birth date, looked on the site and it showed nee name as plant. I have done that many searches I am getting my web site wrong I think

All you need to do is search through the marriage indexes for Edgar Blood's marriage to a Plant and then find the matching entry for Plant to get her first name, then take it from there. Search backwards starting with the quarter of Janet's birth. Kate.
