Follow Beverley's 'who are we looking for in Leicester' thread on this board and seek out Mike from Leicester, who knows everything about Leicester. Somebody gave me that advice some months ago and it was the best thing I've ever done in relation to research. Good luck! Sheila |

Hi Anna My paternal uncle and his wife Ronald and Patricia Harrison ran the Westcotes Hotel on Latimer Street (off Hinckley Road) in the late 60's early 70's. Hope this helps. |

My Mum and dad George and Hilda Haines ran the 'Three Crowns' In Barwell, Leicestershire. I know they were there in 1960, as this is where I was born. I do not know what year they took it over though. It has now been deomolished. |

Have you tried the Licensed Vituallers Association, they would probably have a list of members for that period. |

i tried the Licensed Vituallers Association, but you have to join them and it costs , any other ideas welcolm. anna |
