I have checked through GR, but I'm the only one of everyone I've contacted so far decended from William Snell MORRISH. How would I seach the electorial register once I have a name, that, I'm guessing, is not online. I've also found marridges details missing or not present, as I could not find my parents marridge, my grand-parents marridge or my great grandparents. I had assumed these details were not all complete so far.... as in some poor person had yet to enter it online. (1837online did have deatils I think, at least I found myself, but it not well organsied research, but great if you know the details already) I'm on the 'trying to find board'... ever hopefull, sounds like I have 1year and 11months left to wait.... LOL

If your after contacting 'living relatives' (descendants) of the above mentioned ... then I would have a look on 'Search Family Tree's' (left hand side menu). See if any of the above people are listed, and if so, contact the tree owner with a possible connection. The tree owner is likely to be a descendant. After that, I'm afraid you will have to trawl 1837online for possible marriage's of the people born 1901 or afterwards and then trace the people this way to folks born 1950 or afterwards ... then check for these people on the Electoral Registers. You could also put a message on 'Trying to Find' board. I did, 2 years ago ... and last week a descendant made contact with me...worth the wait. !! Dancer :-)

Little Caz Bertram is the most interesting and one that I am most keen to find relatives of When he was living in Fullham he was studying at Heatherleys (a private art school), and the marridge looks like it's probablly him but I have no idea which girl he married, I found both the girls on a earlier census and one is older than Bertram (Bertie) and the other is younger, but the other guy who got married is also younger than Bertram... Maybe he married the oldest one? Also Emily Bartlett was his cousin I think. There is a family rummour he went to the States or Canada, but I can't find evidence.

I have found various sibilings of my great grandmother using census records from Ancestory and FreeBMD and FreeCEN, but I'm stuck I can't find any more records for them, where else and what else can I search (idealy online) They are all the children of William Snell MORRISH (1844-1917) a lanscapre watercolourist, from Chagford in Dartmoor. I can give more details of his children if anyone wishes to pick up the gauntlet on this. Thanks Warwick
