Emily was born in approx 1858 and John in 1860. Think they have moved to Derbyshire

Hi, This has created a further mystery. In these census records and 1901 ones I have viewed it shows that there is a daughter called Sarah Chadbourne born abt 1881. However John Henry Stevens did not get married to Emily until 1883 which leads me to believe Sarah had another mother and may have been born out of wedlock. Is there anyway I can find out who her mother is? Thanks Helen

the easiest way to find out Sarahs parents names is to get her BC Have you looked to see if she is on 1881 census? it could be eithers parents 2nd marriage !

Hi Esta, I did look on the 1881 census and do not think she was born then. Also searched birth indexes and cannot find her. As you know John Henry was a boarder in another house in 1881. Its a mystery! Helen
