Valerie Thanks for that tip, I'm going to try it! I had already got as far as giving him two wives with the same name, but couldnt see how to delete one of them. I shall be so chuffed if this works, as I have three separate boo-boos to tidy up! Olde Crone

We too have this type of problem. Have contacted the team several times and to date have not received a reply in 5 weeks. It would now appear that this problem is entrenched, and no one from the team wants to talk. We too have two men attached somehow to one woman (lucky girl), But when we select the second gentleman, the womans name changes too. Is she now scitzophrenic? We are unable to seperate by any means so far This program was good, now its getting frustrating here in Australia You all take care.

this tip was given the other day dont know if it will help This morning I clicked on 'Add partner' intead of editing (Mother) and gave someone two wives of the same name. The extra one would not delete. The 'Linked to more than 1 person' message came up. Obviously the system could not tell which one was connected to one name and which to multiple names. So: I changed the christian name on the unwanted one to 'Duplicated'. That gave them seperate identities. I could then delete the 'Duplicate' one.

no, no easy way! start at the youngest and delete people from the bottom up. you cannot delete anyone with offspring without first having deleted the offspring.

I believe that the only way is to work up or down from the latest, unattached entry. Alternatively, contact the support team and see if they can do it for you.

Hi, I don't have a Gedcom, as GR is the only record that I have. I have found a few entire generations of my tree to be incorrect. Is there an easy way of deleting these generations. Any advice would be appreciated. Regards, Lyn.
