Hi Merry, I stopped! Changing tack completely. I'm a member of Ancestry - can I see the full 1851 census? I there anyway I can look for the Lakenham area in any census. Kristeen |

Have you got the birth cert for mum's details??? I did wonder about this family in 1851....Ignore the surname....it's POSSIBLE the surname has been duplicated from the previous family..... or it could be chance and that two families living nextdoor to each other have the same surname, thought the two ''Heads'' come from different places........ (Nothing on FreeBMD!) for a Philip Pleasants, or a Randall Pleasants or a Randall Dugdale....... I have had no joy with any of these names at other time frames (other censuses etc). Philip or Phillip was born around September 1848 I can find him on 1881 with his wife Julia m. 3/4/1874 but nothing before that. Can anyone please help. Kristeen |
