Could someone, please, click on my name on this thread and tell me how many people are showing in my tree? I thought somewhere on this site it revealed this information (to me) but since some of the recent upgrades to the site, I can't seem to find it now. (The site doesn't allow me to click on my own name to check this myself.) Thanks! Judy

Thank you Peter! When I view 'my relations' it says 267. I think that number is related to those that are of my direct blood line - I had no way of checking that theory without knowing how many were actually showing in my tree. Judy

Heather, I must not be looking in the correct spot or something - I've looked everywhere and can't seem to spot the whole number in my tree. I've been trying to EXPORT my tree from this site and the EXPORT link isn't doing anything when I click on it.....is anyone else having this problem? (Thanks for checking, Heather!) Judy

Judy, On the Home Page there is that beige area which has three different zones, the one on the left tells me that I have far fewer folk in my tree that you have!! Perhaps yours will tell your that you have spent hours entering the data! Pete

Judy On the home page, where it says 'Build Your Tree' it gives number of individuals and number of surnames. On 'My Family Tree' about half way down the page above the green line it has 'There are x names in this tree.' The two numbers are sometimes different if GR has added an unnamed spouse or two. Thanks Alan and Peter.....I did find it on MY HOMEPAGE. I just checked the number in my tree here on GR and against the family tree program I have on my PC.....although my PC tree shows more people by just a few, I believe the number showing on GR is correct - I've updated my PC since last updating here on the site so the numbers would be slightly different. I am trying to help another member retrieve her only copy her tree - her numbers were different from what she knows is on the tree and what is showing here on GR. I think she may be looking at the numbers related to her blood line and not the tree as a whole (I have to run that by her now.) At any rate, I can't help her because the GEDCOM EXPORT button isn't working! I just wrote GR to inquire about the non-working link but won't hold my breath waiting for a reply. Thanks again! Judy

My friend, Mary, just informed me that this was GR's response to her today in reference to the GEDCOM EXPORT issue: Thanks for your email Mary, I am afraid that it is not currently possible to export large gedcoms from the site. Our technical team are looking into this and hope to have it fixed soon. Regards Estelle http://www.genesreunited.com

Yes, I'm another person who can't export their tree! GR really should get this working. We are paying for membership and yet important facets of this site don't work! Cheers, Lynn
