hello. i was wondering if anyone could help me find informtaion on men who served in the royal navy around the late 1800's early 1900's. i know my grt * 2 grandad alfred Sidney knight (1863C St LUke)was a chief yeoman in the signals of the royal navy. i was wantin to find some more information on him while he was in the navy. laura x |

There's lots of Navy records in The National Archives. I think they have an online catalogue list - you could see what type of records they hold. Also there's an article about tracing Navy ancestors in the current issue of 'Your Family Tree' magazine Anne |
