Too many John Keens - When was he born? which page no? anne Ah you got it!!!! I think a tea broker was someone who bought and sold tea from wholesalers to retailers. Perhaps imported it too? Anne |

hi Valerie, I believe a Tea Broker was a middle-man who bought in bulk from Tea Merchants (who imported the tea) and distributed it to wholesale warehouses or other large suppliers to the Retail industry. I'm prepared to be corrected in detail but you get the idea? regards julian |
