orphanage info needed

Madeline, Google for 'National Childrens' Homes' and then you can contact them to ask if they have a record - they should be able to check electronically. They were most helpful in helping me discover more about one of my ancestors. It's an impressive service. Kind regards Jane

Hi, would anyone know how to get information on someone in an orphanage. One of my ancestors (arthur hughes) fits into the age of a person in Spurgeons orphanage Lambeth Thanks for any help Regards Madeline
