Also Alice abt 1753 (IGI) married John Farrow James 28 Dec 1774 (pedigree) married Elizabeth Farrow Something dodgy going on here me thinks..........

Not really m'dear. Newton is sort of North of kettering and Ringstead is kinda between W'boro & Thrapston so no, not really

The Newton area I know of is 'Newton Heath' a small village close to Manchester Lancashire, it's neighbouring village is Droylsden! Lib:))

Can anyone tell me - Are Newton & Ringstead anywhere near each other? IGI have the family listed as Newton, Pedigree has them as Ringstead (by several researchers) Now I am confussed!! Elly
