The Complimentery Family Bible c1860 - Although not completely up to date the last entry being 1988, there are several entries for the family, including the parents and thier children and the deaths of family members. Births include - SARAH ELIZABETH FLINT b.16/09/1908 GLADYS FLINT b.22/12/1911 MARY FLINT b.17/05/1913 LUTHER FLINT b.09/05/1915 Deaths include - GEORGE FLINT d.10/06/1927 LUTHER BANSTAY killed in France 1918 JANE ELIZABETH FLINT d.15/05/1952 GEORGE FLINT d.26/04/1965 LUTHER FLINT d.12/03/1988 In the bible are two silk bookmarks comemorating the deaths of two ladies, ELLEN ALLCOCK Wife of James d.14/07/1924 aged 66. Interred at East Kirby Cemetery 19/07/1924. ELIZABETH PEACH d.09/01/1936 aged 78. Interred at East Kirby Cemetery. Family Bible c1878 - marriage of SAMUEL VICKERS and ALICE MARY SKIRTCHLY 28/02/1911 Mid 19C Family Bible PATON - first name is CHARLES PATON born 6th May 1815. Antique Leather and Brass Bible - Inscription hand written in front ADELE SOPHIA WATTS Presented by her affectionate Mother May 12th 1872 The gift is small yet may it be a remembrance of my love to thee. Small Leather Bound Child's Bible -JOHN J BACOCK born March 15th 1897. Prize for the greatest number of learned lessons during the year December 1883, from his teacher. That's all for now....
