I have a relative Patrick Joseph Bohen b. 1840 ish somewhere in Ireland. After servin over 30 years in the British Army (mostly in India) he married Mary Dorriann Bella (nee Gorman) about 1890. Son William Thomas b 1891 and a daughter Gertrude Briget b June 1894 baptised St Mathews Catholic Church, Belfast. I would dearly like to find out where in Ireland he oeiginated, but amfinding it difficult. Any tips would be gratefully received. Jane

Thanks Teresa! I am hot on the trail. Only slight snag is that when I put Mary Gorman's name in (Patrick's wife) none of the references to a marriage for her matched date and place for the three references for Patrick Bohen. I wonder how accurate the transcribing was?? Jane
