Mines arrived too! I only ordered one of them on Thursday - cant believe how quick! PLUS they are beautiful, accurate, just what I needed on both of them. I had my husbands GGFx2 as a soldier everywhere except on his marriage cert where he is shown as a Gardener! Have got the birth cert of the eldest kid and yep, dad was a Guardsman! Second one, trying to check the background of my GGMx3 - have found a possible mum for her down in 1841 as inn keeper. Bingo again, on the marriage cert dad shown as deceased Licenced Victualler. Oh dont it make you happy when things like this come together. |

Yes, mine arrived this morning several days early too. Unfortunately it was for the wrong couple, but that's my fault not the GRO's! Kate. |

Obviously some dozy cleric had copied it from the original Guardsman to Gardner. That had really thrown me when I saw it on the wedding cert as all along from the age of 18 he has been a soldier. |

Same here, ordered Thursday and got one Saturday. Bit miffed though because I was having trouble logging in Wednesday and rang for the first time and ordered the cert over the phone not knowing it costs £8.50 till she told me, I decided to treat myself because it's really an important one and it's not arrived yet, work that one out LOL Elaine |

NOT the GRO - but Macclesfield Register Office. They don't have online ordering, so I posted my request about 12 noon on Wednesday, snail mail. Got cert first post Friday!!! Also ordered five Wills from Cheshire Records Office, on line. Quoted delivery date was ten working days - got them in 4!! Olde Crone |

Of course, this in no way stops me from being truely happy for all you jammy, whoops, I mean, lucky people, who have got your certificates early. Not jealous in the slightest really :os Helenxx |
