Thank you all for your suggestions. I followed your tips about getting a copy of her Mother's death certificate and I've found her!! June did indeed register her Mother's death and the certificate also gave her address. I checked with Directory Enquiries and her tel. no. is ex-directory. I presume that means she is still at the same address. This is the first living rellie I've found and it's really quite exciting! I've have written to her (following guidelines found elsewhere on this site) and hopefully she will reply.... Thanks again Lyndsey

You can also post on the 'Trying to Find' board, and look her up on the electoral roll and / or phone directory at 192 d o t c o m. Kate.

Have you purchased either of her parents' death certificates? It would be useful to see who registered Thelma's in particular might be useful as she might have gone to live with or near her daughter after her husband's death.

Yes, she isnt old is she. Have you got the death certs - who was the informant?

If you are feeling flush, you could buy the death certs for her parents - wouldn' t it be good if she had registered either/both their deaths?? (OK, so maybe ''good'' isn't the right word!) Merry

She could still be alive and single - or am I missing something here? Have you tried electoral rolls? Janice

June Ann Lenton is eluding me! Lenton is/was her maiden name. I have not been able to trace a marriage or death certificate for her. All the information I have is from her birth certificate, her parents marriage certificate and details of their deaths She was born on the 19th June 1948 at St. Barts Hospital. Her parents names were Edward Frederick and Thelma Gertrude Lenton and at the time of her birth they lived in Napier Grove, Shoreditch (East London) Edward's death was registered in 1998 in the district of Shoreditch, Thelma's in 2000 in the district of Barnet. As, obviously, there are no census records available- where do I go from here? All suggestions gratefully received! Lyndsey
