Hello Alter, I'm trying to find Birth of an Annie elizabeth Copping b 1856 I have found her on 1881 census living in Rochford Essex where it gives her place of birth as somewhere un-readable in Cambs. Then i have her on 1891 giving birth place as Great Bradley Norfolk so i'm not sure of anything.Thought i'de take a chance and ask if you can find anything though as i'm stuck. Regards Mike |

I think you'll find, if you are using the Cambridgeshire online access to BMDs that they don't include all, if any, the Newmarket registration district - perhaps because it covered parishes on both sides of the county border which ran along Newmarket High Street. |

Alter Thanks for looking. Am certain of name and know he wasn't adopted. His death was an accident and apparently he became the first child liver or kidney transplant donor where the donor was dead. My mother said it was in the press as it was a big medical event however I can't seem to find any reference to it and cannot find a death reference. It will probably turn up whe I am not looking for it. Thanks again Karen. |
