Joyce. Just go here http://www.visualtour*com/downloads/ (Change * to dot) Download XP FIX (2nd one down) on to your desktop. Click on it ( it will reset your command.com, autoexec.nt and config.nt files ) Don't worry it's safe, has been used by others on here. Earlier windows software needs these 'DOS' files correctly configured to run OK. Keep it in case you need it again. Bob |

Karen have a look here http://www.softpedia*com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/16-bit-MS-DOS-Subsystem-Error-Quick-Fix.shtml This one should do the same and says NT/2000/XP This is a reputable site. Let us know if it works. Bob |

Joyce With XP use this one as I know it works (Your mail hasn't dispayed thanks to GR) http://www.visualtour*com/downloads/ Its the second file down just click on the name and you will get a box asking where you want to save it. (desktop best). If your trying the second there is a round circle, top left, with download on it. Bob |

Joyce. It sounds like you have a problem and are not reaching the correct site. You may need to run Ad-Aware, Spybot etc. ( see one stop PC maintenance thread). Malicious software can re-direct your PC to the wrong sites. You should clean up your computer before anything else. Bob |
