Just received my Gt Uncles WW1 Service papers from Australia Which included a copy of a Telegram details below: PRIORITY TO DEFENCE MELBOURNE Signed for by the Brigadier General Australian Imperial Force The first line is as follows: C19L 3649 odiable silvergod moblavod vugiary arabesk 1918 then another 11 lines very similiar with the odd name thrown in The last line is as follows: SCOTT Norman Crichton silvergod renewell pombinha now moblaw. My Uncles name was Ellis Spencer and he was a Gunner with the Trench Mortar Battery. I've tried Latin/French/German but no luck CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHATS ITS ABOUT? Regards Cheryl
