My great grandfather Reginald Charles Taylor married my great grandmother in 1930 in Lexden Essex. However i have recently found out that Reginald was married before this, he was born 1900c in Colne Engaine so i am pretty sure he was married the first time in Essex as well. Do you think you can find it for me please? Keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that you can help. Thanks Claire xx

Unfortunately this is too late for Freebmd ( for reference, you can always look up b,m,d on there free - though it isnt complete). And any kind soul with 1837 units would flinch at having to search 56 quarters! You could subscribe to 1837 and have a go yourself? Or try familyrelatives.org. It may be worth you getting his birth certificate reference too if you intend to track his line. If he were married for many years before his second wife, then there should be some kids around aswell?

For the period 1866-1920 familyrelatives.org is much better value and name searchable.

I have looked through just two years for you - 1924 and 1925 - on 1837online, to help narrow down your search. The only Reginald C. Taylor married in this period was:- June qtr. 1924 Hackney, 1b, 761, spouse Leslie. Kath. x

Claire I have looked on family relatives but only 1917 - 1920 (the site is only fully searchable to 1920) in the Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex district. The only Reginald Taylor married in Norwich in the first quarter 1919. Vol 4b, Page 305 Spouse Bond. Best Wishes, Helen
