Thanks to all for replying. I have no details of the pub and by 1901, he had become a bricklayers labourer. I'm still searching. Jan |

Hi Jan, Northwarnborough and Odiham are about 10 miles from where I live. Perhaps Northwarnborough started off as a street, it is now a place in it's own right, as is Odiham. What was the name of the Pub, it may still be there. Hope this helps. Regards Gail. |

Thanks everybody. Helen Little Nell. I had never thought about doing the Census and working back to find the adjacent street. What a good idea. Jan |

I think you will find it is actually The Street, North Warnborough. it is the third road exiting the the roundabout in the center where the Hook Rd meets the B3449 Dunleys Hill. Jennifer |

This is what came up when I googled: key instead of clicking on 'search' Sibil BRAY - Ernest A BRETT ... Baptism: 24 Nov 1867, Ashwell, Hertfordshire; Residence: 3 Apr 1881, Northwarnbro Street, Odiham, Hampshire; Occupation: Assistant Baker, 3 Apr 1881. ... www.kevin.bean.dsl.pipex.com/ family_history/Ged2Web/people/p000003c.htm - 66k - Supplemental Result - Cached - Similar pages James BRAY - Ruth E BRAY ... Baptism: 24 Nov 1867, Ashwell, Hertfordshire; Residence: 3 Apr 1881, Northwarnbro Street, Odiham, Hampshire; Occupation: Assistant Butcher, 3 Apr 1881. ... www.kevin.bean.dsl.pipex.com/ family_history/Ged2Web/people/p000003b.htm - 101k - Supplemental Result - Cached - Similar pages It doesn't appear to be on www streetmap uk co, so I think it no longer exists. You could look for the above listed people on the 1881 site - free on www.familysearch.org - and then click on the previous/next households until you come to the end of the road and see which streets are listed before and after it. nell |
