They've added a whole lot recently, Joy, but so far as I can remember, this address would have been out of date virtually from Day 1 of Genes. Still, I'm grateful that at the third (or is the fourth, my counting never was much good!) time of asking, I did get a personal reply. And I'm impressed that Estelle is at work that early!

Thanks everybody who has also contacted GR. I came home this evening, to discover a message sent at 6.24am today, saying that this will be updated! I am now feeling churlish for having framed it so bluntly, but with the stream of complaints GR are doubtless receiving re the speed of the site, it'll be interesting to see when it actually happens.

Brenda Whilst I am emailing them about the slowness of the site, I will copy and paste your message. I will also ask them WHY there is NO link to the LDS site yet there is this one - The Lewis Family of Collin County, Texas http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jimmylewis/ Lewis family information plus other genealogy resources. What's all that about - LOL!! Lynne PS: I've just waited 30 seconds for this to go through and it just 'stuck'. Last one I did, it came up with a 'happy genes error' so I did it again and it wen ton the board twice! I now open a second Explorer window and carry on surfing whilst I wait for the message to post!!

Have just tacked it on as a PS to my query about why I should have received (today) an e-mail from GR inviting me to upgrade to full membership for £9.50 - with increased benefits, such as the ability to post messages on the boards and so on... Given that you can see my message here, you may infer that I already have current full membership - up until mid-Feb 2006. weird Christine
