Enfield, no tube from there to Colindale, sorry have to be the car! Can usually park at Hendon Aircraft Museum and walk from there, not far. Janet

North London should be easy for you. Can go through Stanmore, Edgeware and turn off left into Colindale but parking is horrendous. Tube will go through to Colindale depending where in North London. Janet

Thanks Janet, have to investigate how to get there from home, but only in North London so shouldn.t be too difficult.

This sort of information will have been reported in the newspaper. A minor case will appear in the local newspaper. For the Chatham area you will need to approach Chatham main library and ask what local newspapers there were at the time and you will be able to access these local newspapers at the main library in Chatham. If you live close enough to London then try Colindale Newspaper Library which holds all the national and local newspapers for the UK. You can google Colindale Newspaper Library for the web address. You will need to do the search yourself unless you want to pay someone to do the research for you. A major case will have been reported in the Times. If reported in the Times you can just key in a name on the Times website and obtain info. I had a case in Kent reported in the Times and found all the references this way. Janet

I have just made contact with someone on this site, and she posed me a question, so I thought I'd come on the boards to see if any of you can help us, one of our ancestors lost a court case (Contesting some land ownership we think) in Chatham, Kent, probably early 1900s, Does anyone know where we may find out details of this case, Thanks.
